Welcome to the VCCDBA

The VCCDBA is an association of attorneys who practice criminal defense in Ventura County, California. 
We have been in existence for over 25 years.  Our primary purposes are to organize, educate, and focus the efforts of the criminal defense bar of Ventura County.  We provide information, training, MCLE and support for our membership.  We meet regularly to discuss current issues of interest to criminal defense practitioners. When appropriate, our representatives bring issues to the attention of the courts, the District Attorney, law enforcement, the news media and others to advocate for the interests of criminal defense attorneys and their clients.

Membership is open to any licensed attorney that is not affiliated with law enforcement or the District Attorney and is interested in the rights of the accused and the struggle for justice.

We are not affiliated with the Ventura County Bar Association.  We are an independent association of criminal defense practitioners.  We are a California State Bar authorized MCLE provider.
